How to help

There are lots of ways to help SPC be successful with our mission.  You can become an active member, become a supporter, or just help get the word out about all the great work the coalition is doing in our community.

Participate in E-Check Up To Go

E-Check Up To Go is an online tool that helps people compare their alcohol use against the national norm. This tool goes into depth on drinking habits and what someone can do to be healthier.  It is annonymous and gives SPC data on our communities alcohol use.

Annual Town Hall Meeting
Every year we host a "Town Hall Meeting" for community members to attend and have their voices heard. We discuss the harmful affects of underage drinking and drug use and strategies for making positive change in Seward. Volunteers are always needed to make this event a success.

Latest project

Be[You] State-wide Media Campaign.  SPC is a member of the Alaska Wellness Coalition and are participating in the state-wide positive community norms messaging through Be[You].  We are addressing and encouraging healthier choices for our youth by focusing on what our youth are doing right. 78% of Alaska Teen chose not to Drink.
